About me
My name is Ali Saffaf, 40 years old and I'm from Kingdom of Bahrain.
I found myself interested in keeping pigeons at age of 10 when my father bought me the first pair of Iranian high flyer. At age of 20, I switched over to keep some fancy pigeons where I made a collection of Modena, Jacobins, Indian Fantail and Bokhara.

After few years of dealing with different type of fancy pigeons, and after being in contact with many breeders & dealers in my country and around my region, my hobby intensified and decided to keep only Jacobins.
I got myself very much involved into internet and searched for more information about this type. At the same time I looked foreword to import some high standard birds from US or Europe.
Fortunately, I had a contact with some best Jacobin breeders in Australia and I was very much impressed with their quality.

One of the master Jacobin breeders from Australia whom I talked to and was welling to sell me some of his birds, was Mr. Peter Smith. I loved his Jacobins which were displayed on Australian Jacobin site.

I imported 5 pairs of his best blood line and the day I first received them, I was very much happy and the day was the most significant day for me. After few days of keeping these birds in my loft, I had visitors from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Emirates and Kuwait. All were amazed of the quality of the birds I got
from Peter.

I was the first person from our region who ordered Jacobins from Australia and
we all now love this standard.
Since then I keep working on to breed the best quality standard birds and to make my own stud. At the same time I supported some of my friend by selling them
some young's for them to cross with what they have got.
I would like to highlight a point that the only Bahraini friend and a Bokhara
breeder in Bahrain who always supported me was Mr. Mahmood Afra. On daily bases
we exchange general information on how to improve our breed quality.

Finally, I would like to thank Mr. Peter Smith and Mr. Mahmood Afra for their support all the time.
